Our 英语 programs ground students in the knowledge and practice of cultural, literary, and rhetorical interpretation and history, and offer them the platforms to develop into highly proficient academic, creative, and professional 作家.

Creative Minds Meet at First Greeley Zine Fest
The 英语 Department partnered with the High Plains 图书馆 District to host the inaugural Greeley Zine Fest on Saturday, April 6, 2024. 当地作家，艺术家和 other creatives expressed themselves through a variety of zines, a medium that has deep roots in supporting independent voices. “In Food and Feast in Premodern Outlaw Tales editors Melissa Ridley Elmes and Kristin Bovaird-Abbo gather eleven original studies examining scenes of food and feasting in premodern outlaw texts ranging from the tenth through the seventeenth centuries and forward to their cinematic adaptations. Along with fresh insights into the popular Robin Hood legend, these essays investigate the intersections of outlawry, food studies, and feasting in Old 英语, Middle 英语, and French outlaw narratives, Anglo-Scottish border ballads, early modern ballads and dramatic works, and cinematic medievalism. Administered by the 英语 Department's Film Studies program, the 国际 Film Series (IFS) at the University of Northern Colorado partners with campus groups and community organizations to bring you the very best international and domestic films!
