Strategic Plan
Welcome to Information Management and 技术's (IM&T) Strategic 技术 Plan for the University of Northern Colorado. This plan serves as a roadmap for IM&T's future, outlining our goals and 目标 for the next three years. It results from a collaborative effort involving input from diverse stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff.
The plan is grounded in our institution's mission and values and is aligned with UNC's Rowing, Not Drifting 2030 strategic plan. It also considers the rapidly changing landscape of higher education, including diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI), technological advancements, economic challenges.
Our strategic plan focuses on four main areas: Communication & Customer Service, 创新 & 技术 Experience, Cybersecurity & Compliance, Infrastructure & Cloud Strategy. Each of these areas includes key actions and tactics for achieving them.
This strategic plan will guide IM&T to invest in the best initiatives for UNC and 它的未来. We look forward to working together to achieve the goals outlined in this plan and continue providing an outstanding technology experience for all members of our community.

Strategic Goal 1: Communication & Customer Service
Increase awareness and understanding of IM&T's services and resources to students, faculty, staff, with the goal of improving technology adoption, enhancing the user experience, supporting innovation in teaching, learning, research.
Strategic Goal 2: 创新 & 技术 Experience
Create a seamless and innovative technology experience for students, faculty, staff to enhance teaching, learning, research outcomes and improve overall user satisfaction.
Strategic Goal 3: Cybersecurity & Compliance
Continue building and evolving the comprehensive and proactive cybersecurity program that safeguards UNC's data, systems, networks and promotes a culture of security awareness and best practices among students, faculty, staff.
Strategic Goal 4: Infrastructure & Cloud Strategy
Secure adequate funding for developing, maintaining, renewing UNCs technology infrastructure and ensure that the infrastructure supports UNC's strategic goals and 目标.
